All the Woolsome Goats home bred Goats are named from the periodic table of elements.  You can access their pedigress from table below.  At one time we were going to select the males and females names so that offspring could be IUPAC named to describe the pedigree but that was going to be too hard - especialy as we decided to sell carbon!. I always wanted a goat called 4,4-Dimethyl-1,3-cyclopentane dicarboxylicate (even if the BGS couldn’t register the name)

In addition there are the goats that have been bought into the herd which have the naming convention (if any) of their home prefix.
