Self Catering Holidays in Wasdale

Welcome to Yew Tree Holidays

Set among the natural splendour of Wasdale, home to England’s highest mountain and deepest lake and at the heart of the unspoilt Western Lake District, Yew Tree Farm is a special place.  Whether you are a serious climber, bird watcher or painter or whether you just want a break from the hassle of life, Yew Tree Farm provides an ideal base for your Lakeland holiday.

Yew Tree Farm is a traditional working Lakeland hill farm with the Lake District’s native Herdwick Sheep together with  a small herd of pedigree dairy goats.  The Barn has direct access to the  fellside and Nether Wasdale Common

The single self catering unit at Yew Tree Farm is a converted barn a little way from the main farmhouse.  The accommodation sleeps four adults and comprises a kitchen/diner, lounge, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunkbed and a shower room.  The Barn has its own small garden and ample parking.  Prices range from £300 - £450 per week.

On this website you will find a picture gallery showing the Barn in more detail together with surrunding views, a list of things to do in the area, contact details and directions and the inevitable links page. The calendar shows the current availability of accomodation. Terms and Conditions are here. Or if you have a specific question or can’t be bothered ploughing through the site, please email us.
